Obituary

Dr. Leonard Drucker, 90, of Northbrook, passed away peacefully on Friday, beloved husband of Marilyn, nee Cheskes for 66 wonderful years; amazing father of Denise (Buddy) Blinick & the late Janice (the late Steven) Blum; adored grandfather of Alex, Zachary & Samantha Blum and Gabrielle & Madison Blinick; devoted great-grandfather of Jaycee; loving brother of Ethel (Charles) Sobel & Charles (the late Rumi); fond uncle, cousin & friend of many. Len was a dedicated optometrist & proud WWII veteran. He will be remembered for his compassion & the time he dedicated to enriching the lives of his loved ones. His family will honor him by carrying on his sense of humor & positive outlook on life. Chapel service Tuesday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. The last time I was with Leonard was in San Francisco, CA celebrating his great nephews Bar Mitzvah. It was a happy family occassion. Leonard, Marilyn from Illinois, Ethel, Charles, Michelle from New York and I joined them from Michigan. We joined the California clan to celebrate a Bar Mitzvah. A happy time and the way I like to remember Leonard.

We are so sorry for the loss of a wonderful man. We bowled with Len and looked so forward to seeing him on Mondays. He always gave me compliments and was always a gentleman.
Len will surely be missed by all.
